Louisiana State University

I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Computer Science and Engineering at Louisiana State University. My research focuses on multimodal and collaborative AI-enabled decision-support systems that enable effective and efficient data-driven decision-making, which spans human–computer interaction (HCI), information visualization, applied artificial intelligence, and social computing. My work has received best paper awards at CSCW 2020, DIS 2021 (honorable mention), and EuroVIS 2022. Prior to joining LSU, I earned my Ph.D. from the Robert and Donna Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I hold an M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as an M.S. and B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Dhaka. I am currently the director of the Human Interaction and Visualization Experience (CHIVE) Lab at Louisiana State University.
