The Council of Management of Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) has instituted a scheme, called Visiting Professorship (VP) of HBNI, to invite distinguished scientists to visit its Constituent Institutions (CIs). The scheme provides for visit of six months and can be extended upto a year. The duration of stay can be continuous or in short spells spread over three years. The Council of Management has chosen Dr. Iyengar for the award of HBNI Visiting Professorship at Indira Gandhi Center of Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam.
