The Software Engineering Research Group is dedicated to developing techniques
to advance the design, implementation, and evolution of software. The research
is motivated by the continuing need to provide reliable software that is
delivered on time and can be maintained in a cost-effective manner. The group
focuses its research efforts in the general area of software evolution and
specifically in the areas of requirements traceability, model-driven software
development, reverse engineering, and software reusability. The research
utilizes techniques such as data mining, pattern transformations, formal
methods, and agents to help address problems in these areas.
Dr. Kundu and his group have
developed software visualizer (patent applied),flowchart diagram generator
code instrumentation for test-coverage measurement, finite-state and PushDown
machine simulator, a robot-motion simulator on a rectangular grid under
an FSM/PDA control
