LCPC 2005
The 18th International Workshop on Languages and Compilers
for Parallel Computing
October 20-22, 2005
(originally to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana)
The Workshop on Languages and Compilers for Parallel Computing
(LCPC) has been held
annually since 1988 to allow leading research groups in North America,
Europe, and Asia to present their current research activities and
their latest results. It has also been a place for researchers and
practitioners to interact and exchange ideas about future directions
of parallel computing. The 18th workshop was planned to be held in
New Orleans, LA.
Unfortunately, because of the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina,
it is unlikely that New Orleans would open up for business within
the next four months. So we moved the conference to Hawthorne,
New York (hosted by IBM Research), and will try to have it in
New Orleans in 2006.
