Abstract:
The game of Ms. Pac-Man is a classic which has been around for decades. Since its creation, human players have been challenging each other to obtain the highest score, but in recent years computer scientists have began to challenge each other at creating an artificial intelligence which can also compete at this game. This project attempts to create an artificial intelligence system which is able to play the game of Ms. Pac-Man, and employs classic artificial intelligence techniques such as graph searching and finite state machines to accomplish this goal. The end result is a system which is able to play the game of Ms. Pac-Man but is still far from reaching the performance marks set by humans.

All are invited.
