Title:Web Based Credit Card Application and Management System

Abstract:
This project is to developed a web based credit card application and management system. It provides a set of application interfaces involving with credit card application, account management, and online transactions using credit card. It also provides the interface for management personnel to access the user personal data and transaction data stored in the database remotely. Through the interface, the management personnel can query, evaluate and update the databases depending on their levels of access right. The Na?ve Bayes classifier was used as the data-mining algorithm to evaluate the credit card application. The result of the evaluation is generated online and the user account is created upon the approval of the application.

A three-tier client server architecture was implemented, Java servlet technology is used to communicate with the user input and to connect to the backend Database through JDBC. Database built on MS SQL Server 2000 is used to store the user data and the profile for access control.
