Title:A Web Based Application for Access Log Data Retrieval and Modification Using JSP and Java

Abstract:
A Web based application has been developed to retrieve and modify the access log data for the Web site of the Department of Computer Science at the Louisiana State University. The application analyzes the log data using Analog, report magic, and LookupIP software. The results are stored in an MS Access database. The Web based application has been developed based on JSP, Java Bean, Java Applet, and HTML. The Java Web Services Developer Pack (Java WSDP) has been used to build Web services and run the program. The application processes a request by the user by JSP on the server side and the response is sent back to user.
