Title:IT Solutions to Mathematical Approaches in Commercial Application

Abstract:
The purpose of this project is to design and implement IT solutions to mathematical approaches in real business application. This application is to evaluate the market value of residential properties by computerized automated evaluation system guided by mathematical models in order to assess the collateral in mortgage loans. The IT solutions are implemented by object-oriented methodologies and approached using AI methodologies. The key components of IT solutions consist of: (1) relational database design and SQL programming, (2) C++ simulation of mathematical functions, (3) three-tiered client/server architecture, (4) XML communication interface, (5) algorithm design, and (6) distributed C++ programming. This system employs C++, ASP, and HTML programming on IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Windows 2000/NT operating system. It combines mathematical and computer application as an example of systems science application.
